After the recent police arrests in Thessaloniki and Halkidiki in order to cease illegal trading, Livemedia captures images of this everyday phenomenon, that is a big problem for the Greek economy.
The illegal vendors sell their goods in order to ensure some revenues with the ultimate goal of moving to other European countries.
Usually, they have no legalization papers and are constantly exposed.
Despite, Greek Police's concerted efforts including arrests of illegal traders, seizure and destruction of the smuggled products, the illegal trading still exists.
