The leading Greek philologist Emmanuel Kriaras makes the Institute of Modern Greek Studies his main spiritual heir

The leading Greek philologist Emmanuel Kriaras (1906-2014), according to the covenant that was published on September 4th, 2014 by the County Court of Thessaloniki, makes the Institute of Modern Greek Studies ( Foundation of M. Triantafillidis) his main spiritual heir.

According to his will, Emmanuel Kriaras grants to the Institute his personal library, with several scientific and other books, manuscripts finished and unfinished, studies and published reviews on his work. The Governing Council of the Institute, at a meeting on September 24th, 2014, accepted the donation, which shows the deepest appreciation of Emmanuel Kriaras for the work of the Institute.
