Red Bull Art of Motion 2014 in the famous landscape of Santorini
More than 1,500 spectators gathered on Saturday, October 4th in Firostefani to watch the finals of the most impressive Red Bull Art of Motion in the background of the famous volcano and the Caldera of Santorini.
18 athletes from 12 different countries, combining art and sport offered unique pictures in the enchanting landscape of the most famous island of Greece.
In a route over the stone roofs and the blue of the eagean sea, 18 freerunners competed in a demanding physical path, making incredible tricks, drops and runs,
Winner of the contest is the Greek Dimitris Kyrsanidis, while the second and third place took accordingly the champion Pavel Petkuns of Latvia and the Russian Aleksandr Baiturin.
The American Luci Romberg won the title of the Best Female and the Russian Aleksandr Baiturin won the Best Trick Award by CU.
