Launch event of the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL)
The FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL) educational seminar will be held in Greece exclusively for students aged 9-16 years, on Sunday, February 8th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Thessaloniki Concert Hall (M2), entitled «Experts Seminar on the FLL" World class "Ambassador's Event & Kick off Event». The educational non-profit organization eduACT in collaboration with the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy of Aristotle, the US Consulate, and with the support of OMMTH, the Metropolis of Neapolis and Stavroupolis Municipality of Pilea - Hortiatis.
In this competition, experts from all over Greece will present the children who will participate in the grand final FLL 2015 with their proposals for a modern way of learning, giving them the impetus to think and create.
This event is the opening event of this year's competition Educational Robotics FLL (FIRST LEGO LEAGUE) Greece 2015, which this year has the theme «World Class - Learning without Frontiers and Boundaries". After last year's success, the annual event will be held on 7 & 8 March 2015 at the Science Center and Technology Museum «Noesis», with the participation of 60 teams from all over Greece. Thus, the opportunity for children to design and create the school of the future as the dream and to propose alternative ways of learning.
The FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL), an Educational Innovation Programme for Research, Technology and Robotics for children 9-16 years old, is a global organization that originated in the educational section of Lego, in cooperation with the First Foundation in 1992. Held every year worldwide and a network of 80 countries. In 2013 the network to Greece was through the educational non-profit association eduACT.
