The collection of Pavlos Moraitis at Noesis
NOESIS hosts the original and unpublished collection of Pavlos Moraitis (1937-2010), an Alexandrian amateur calligrapher, who loved the study, documentation and the artistic images, for over 25 years.
The exhibition presents a selection of manuscripts from media which aims to stimulate the interest of everyone for what moves him: mathematics, culture, calligraphy, Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, creativity and science in general. His creations were painted in 20 years in cotton paper using a multitude of materials and refer in classical manuscripts.
