Cooperation Medical Association of Athens with USA
The contribution of the Diaspora to support Greek physicians who go to the US for education or work, and to address the humanitarian crisis in Greece, was the focus of the contacts of the president of the Medical Association of Athens, Patoulis George, during his visit to New York.
The President of the ISA held meetings with agents of the Diaspora in order to strengthen partnerships for the assistance of young doctors who go for training or work in America, with scholarship opportunities and accommodation. Between Athens Medical Association and the Medical Society of New York is already twinning. Office of the second running on ISA, for supporting young doctors, who are looking for either work or education perspective in America.
George Patoulis took part in an event organized by the Greek Federation of Medical Societies of North America and the Medical Society of New York under the auspices of the Consulate General of Greece in New York. The central theme of the event was the crisis in public health in Greece and the charitable activities of Greek American organizations for their support and the support of the Greek people in response to the humanitarian crisis. Mr. Patoulis, in his speech, he stressed that "the strengthening of relations between the Diaspora and the Greek people gives perspective and hope.
