Inaguaration of the exhibition “Hijo Nam: Ιn dialogue with Greek History“
The exhibition "Hijo Nam: ln dialogue with Greek History" (The Hijo Nam in dialogue with the Greek story) in the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, was launched with great success from the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Giannis Boutaris.
The initiative of the Director of the Archaeological museum, Polyxeni Veleni was to present first exhibition of contemporary Asian art and accommodate for some time the artist from Korea, Hijo Nam, who created projects during her time in the museum and was rewarded by art lovers, critics and art historians, artists, journalists.
The Initiator and curator of the exhibition is the Greek Professor of Art History at John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York, Dr. Thalia Vrachopoulos, who lives and works in New York, has chosen to implement the idea of the worldwide known artist, Hijo Nam.
