"Diabetic Neuropathy, Diabetic Foot: Recent Developments & 1st Training School in the methods of diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy and care of Diabetic Foot"
The high level scientific event, organised by the Northern Greece Diabetes Association on 22-24 May 2015 in Thessaloniki, was completed with great success. Guest speakers in the congress were leading Greek and foreign professors of Harvard University as well as very important speakers from Greece.
Among these were worldwide distinguished scientists such as the Greek Professor at Harvard University, Aristidis Veves and Thanh L. Dinh, Assistant Professor of Surgery, Harvard Medical School.
Prof. Veves in his speech, referred to all the new facts, which concern the treatment of the diabetic ulcer, as well as the treatments to be occured in the near future. To watch the video, please click here.
According to the President of N.G.D.A., T. Didangelos,
the main purpose of the association is to educate and inform physicians
of all specialties and most of all the doctors who are directly
involved in the treatment of Neuropathy and Diabetic foot. To watch the

Meanwhile, for the first time, there were held live demonstration and education in the diagnostic techniques of Autonomic Nervous System's neuropathy, in the examination and diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease and in the care and treatment of the diabetic foot.
