Arrested members circuit operates in migrant smuggling
Enterprise police Thessaloniki Aliens Directorate resulted in the identification and arrest circuit members which is active in facilitating illegal exit of aliens from Greek territory to foreign countries.
They arrested a total of four (4) traffickers, three nationals, aged 49, 35 and 29 (2 men - 1 woman) and a 28 year-old Syrian national.
Against the file formed by police officers of the Department of Illegal Migration of Thessaloniki, on "Integration and participation in criminal organizations" and "Facilitating illegal transportation of aliens overseas."
In particular, the early hours of 14.06.2015, in PATH.E., at the height of the Vegetable Market, found a truck driven by 49chronos arrested, they were riding a total of seventy-two (72) foreigners, including seventeen (17) accompanied minors.
Also found that private car they were riding the other three accomplices, were in the lead truck and was charged with the role of precursor in order to inform the driver 49chronos any police presence.
As a result of the police investigation, the purpose of traffickers was the transfer of foreigners in the region of Kilkis, from where then will leave the Greek territory in order to go to Hetero EU countries.
