Greek Red Cross support the refugees in the island of Kos
On Tuesday, August 18th, 2015 the Greek Red Cross and two representatives of the International Federation of Red Cross, along with volunteers of the Regional Department in the island of Kos helped the migrants and refugees in the Greek territory and particularly on the islands of the eastern Aegean.
The distribution of relief items took place at the central police station of the island where 400-500 beneficiaries received family packs, survival kits, baby kits and kits with feminine hygiene.
