"Who discovered America" at Sofouli Theater
The Sofouli Theatre presents the famous work Chryssa Spilioti "Who discovered America" directed by Paul Danelatou, on Friday, November 20 at 21:00 and on Fridays, Saturdays at 21:00 and Sundays at 20:00.
Two girls, Katy and cousin Lisa, peers and totally opposite characters depict life with passion and humor. Grow up, fall in love, betray and betrayed, chosen, fail, try ... live. Dreams and nightmares become reality in a brilliant stage mapping where the two actresses embody all persons of their life from childhood to the nursing home.
The project though seemingly simple, are profoundly human, keeps very fragile balance between the comic and the tragic and the reason is very thin and direct. That is why we are so successful the first time appeared to date, both in Greece and abroad.
