CROSSOVER ANTONIS SOUSAMOGLOU: POETS WITH HANGOVER

Antonis Sousamoglou, composer and Concertmaster of Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, is releasing a new record, after Don’t Mind the Gap (2007) and One Night Stand (2011), and invites us to attend an atmospheric ‘music session’. Experiences that became lyrics, fragile relationships and epic break-ups, women with eyes made of mercury, songs born during exhausted daybreaks and the broken stations of a black-and-white country, small poetry stands and electrically charged bands.
Antonis Sousamoglou, accompanied by the Poets with Hangover and the blues and soul performances of Nikos Katikaridis, meets the heroes of comic book musicians, L. Cohen, T. Waits, Á. Piazzolla, F. Schubert, travelling magicians and prophets full of regret.
