Award of Thoracic Surgery - Oncology Clinic Theageneiou Cancer Hospital of Thessaloniki
First best presentation award thoracoscopic surgery, won an international competition conducted in the US, the Thoracic Surgery - Oncology Clinic Theageneiou Cancer Hospital of Thessaloniki. The Principal Investigator Dr. Nicholas C. Barmpetakis, Surgeon Thoracic and her team Thoracic Surgery Clinic Theageneiou (D. Paliouras, Th. Rallis, A. Gogakis, N. Schiza) awarded for the presentation of a technically demanding thoracoscopic surgery and the successful application of advanced technologies.
This new award for Thoracic Surgery - Oncology Clinic Theageneiou, came three years after its recognition after evaluation, as Centre of Excellence (Center of Excellence) for Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery at European level. Similarly, the Department acts as International Educational Thoracoscopic Surgery Center having already trained a sufficient number of foreign Thoracic.
