Innovative technique for patients with aortic valve stenosis at Papageorgiou Hospital

Patients with aortic valve stenosis were treated with great success at Papageorgiou Hospital. Thanks to the innovative technique of the transcatheter implantation of biological aortic valve, which was applied last year, twenty high-risk patients were treated successfully. In the only one valid technical center in Northern Greece, a specialized team who work at the hospital will hold another three implantations in patients, tomorrow, on Friday, March 17th.
