Thousands of workers marched through Central London, calling for an end to austerity and demanding better working conditions. The demonstration was organised by the TUC (Trades Union Congress) and several union members and campaigners participated in it.
"We’re marching for a new deal for working people. For the idea that everyone deserves a great job and decent conditions at work. And to make sure that everyone in work can provide a decent life for themselves and their family" says the TUC.
The march assembled at Victoria Embankment on Saturday morning. It then moved off at 12pm ending up in Hyde Park where speeches will take place. #London #LivemediaNews #Protest #LivemediaUK
