BAFTA 2019: Σάρωσαν ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος και η ταινία «The Favourite»
Ολοκληρώθηκαν το βράδυ της Κυριακής τα Bafta 2019, τα μεγαλύτερα βραβεία της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου, με την ταινία "The Favourite" του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου να εξασφαλίζει την πρωτιά σε επτά κατηγορίες.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα, η ταινία του Έλληνα σκηνοθέτη απέσπασε τα βραβεία: Καλύτερης Βρετανικής ταινίας, Πρωτότυπου Σεναρίου (Deborah Davis, Tony McNamara), Β' Γυναικείου για τη Reichel Wesz, Σχεδιασμού Παραγωγής (Fiona Crombie, Alice Felton), Μακιγιάζ και κομμώσεων (Nadia Stacey), Κοστουμιών (Sandy Powell) και Α' Γυναικείου για την Olivia Colman.
