Blue color for the White Tower
For yet another year, the White Tower and the "Umbrellas" Zongolopoulos new Beach Thessaloniki dressed in blue from 18:00 to 24:00
The action was organized by the Diabetes Association of Northern Greece in international initiative illumination of historical monuments and buildings around the world to mark the World Day for Diabetes, which has been established on November 14, but also to remind the bicycle race to be held Thessaloniki Sunday, November 20th.
The purpose of this day is to inform about the disease and its prevention and treatment methods.
This year, the action is and commemorative character to mark the completion of 30 years since the establishment of DEVE, which this year changes to a Greek Society for the Study and Education for Diabetes (EL.E.ME.D.) and the very important scientific and social work education and information on the best treatment of the disease.
In this context, organized workshop for renovation Common Diabetes on Sunday, November 20 at 10.30 at Makedonia Palace Hotel, during which diabetic athletes will share their expertise and specialist physicians will inform the public.
Immediately following at 12:30 starting from Makedonia Palace organized bicycle race under the slogan "Bike for Diabetes", which is invited to join the public.
