Ολοκληρώθηκε την Κυριακή η92η τελετή των βραβείων Όσκαρ με τη νοτιοκορεάτικη ταινία «Παράσιτα» (Parasite) να αποσπάει το βραβείο καλύτερης ταινίας και τους Χοακίν Φοίνιξ και Ρενέ Ζελβέγκερ να λαμβάνουν Όσκαρ Α' ανδρικού και Α' γυναικείου ρόλου αντίστοιχα.
