Livemedia Documentary | Pontos - The Holy Hours
LIVEMEDIA presents its production Documentary "Pontus, the Holy Hours" on 10 May 2017 at 20:00, at Thessaloniki Concert Hall, in the memory of 19th May for the Genocide of Greeks of Pontos. The screening of the documentary is an initiative of LIVEMEDIA and dedicated to the memory of Sarah Myrofora Parcharidou.
Admission is free.
The Documentary 'Pontus, the Holy Hours " refers to the rapid and tragic historical events that preceded and led to the genocide of the Pontian Greeks. Emotional testimony from relatives of genocide survivors are heard, who tell how they were trying to escape the slaughter. Academics talk about the importance of this period and how politicians and religious leaders reacted, revealing unknown historical data.
